Joan Audrey Llewellyn - Died 31st October 2006 aged 75 years

my mam lived in brambles farm all her life from being a baby and met my dad there as he was a neighbour, they were married 57 years when she passed away and me and our Ruth (deceased 1989) ,Paul, Ann, Margaret and Mandy miss her so much. Just isnt enough space on here to write what id like to write about her , i could fill a book.

Audrey as she was known to her friends was a wonderful person who loved life and lived for her family, she brought us up to be well mannered and polite and taught us the values of life. she was the most kind and generous person you could ever meet and would give you her last 10p if you needed it, she would go without to make sure her family didnt.
but she wasnt a fool and was the straightest person you would meet, she spoke her mind and told you exactly what she thought and if she didnt like you , then you would be told.

when i look back now throughout my life , i wish id have taken her advice more because everything she said was right, i just had to learn the hard way.but she would never say i told you so, she was always there to talk to when i needed her most. she was my best friend and my life is so empty without her in it.

mam suffered a lot of years with arthritis in her spine, hands and legs but she would never complain and just get on with it. She found out she had breast cancer in 1999 and fought it for 7 years , she was the most courageous and bravest person ive ever known and even when she was really ill she fought it till the end.Im just grateful that my mam died with all her family around her and that i could hold her hand right till the end.
wish i could see her again to tell her how much i loved her one more time, i just hope that she is at peace with her mam and dad and my sister, Ruth.

my son , Matthew was born on December 2nd 2006 and my mam so much wanted to see him, im sure she will be watching over him and every other member of her family.
I hope that i can help to bring him up with all the same values that my mam taught me , respect, manners and politeness and i thankyou mam for bringing me into this world and teaching me and developing me into the person i am today.

You will always be in my heart mam and i think about you every minute of the day, i know you are with me all the time and i will never ever forget you.

Love you Mam
your son

Stephen

Dearest Joan and family, I know I didn't know you, but just like you I lost my mam Edna (Smart) and I know how bad things can get somedays when all you want is your mam and she's not with you in person. I lit a candle for Joan today because I was thinking of my mam and Joan came into my thoughts. I hope the family are coping and getting on with things, she wouldn't want you to stop living your lives.
God Bless to you all and keep remembering Joan. xxxxx
